ST. JOHN'S, NL — Canada’s Energy and Mines Ministers will hold their annual conference in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador on Monday, August 31 and Tuesday, September 1, 2009.
This year’s Energy and Mines Ministers’ Conference (EMMC) is being co-chaired by the Honourable Lisa Raitt, Minister of Natural Resources Canada, and the Honourable Kathy Dunderdale, Newfoundland and Labrador’s Minister of Natural Resources. The EMMC brings together federal, provincial and territorial ministers to discuss topics ranging from green mining to energy efficiency.
