The Lake Country ArtWalk Planning Committee is a local unincorporated non-profit organization. Lake Country ArtWalk is a spectacular arts festival that attracts more than 6 000 visitors each year. The festival showcases the calibre of creativity and talent in the Okanagan and features some of the region's finest painting, sculpture, photography, performance, literature, and music entertainment during the two-day event.
The Government of Canada has provided funding of $10,000 through the Building
Communities Through Arts and Heritage program of the Department of Canadian Heritage. This program provides Canadians with more opportunities to take part in activities that present local arts and culture and celebrate local history and heritage.
