Ottawa, August 26, 2009 – In what will be the first visit by a senior Canadian parliamentarian in ten years, the Honourable Vic Toews, President of the Treasury Board and Regional Minister for Manitoba, will travel to Paraguay on August 27.
Minister Toews will be discussing the Canadian Citizenship Act and making announcements on behalf of the Minister of International Cooperation.
He will also meet with senior Paraguayan government officials to discuss a range of multi-faceted bilateral issues.
