OTTAWA, August 6, 2009 - The Honourable Tony Clement, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for the National Research Council Canada (NRC), today announced the appointment of Mr. Raymond Leduc as a member of the NRC.
"Mr. Leduc's knowledge and expertise in financial analysis and strategic planning will be a great asset to the NRC," said Minister Clement. "I know that the NRC will benefit from Mr. Leduc's experience and am pleased to welcome him in his new role."
Mr. Leduc is Director and Senior Location Executive with IBM Bromont, where he leads a high technology operation providing microelectronic solutions for IBM's fill line of servers and storage products since 2003.
Mr. Leduc obtained his M.B.A. from McGill University in 1991. He also completed a B.Eng. from McGill University in 1981. Mr. Leduc recently completed a Directors Education Program from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
