GATINEAU, Quebec, September 18, 2009 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all motorists that the Ottawa-bound lane of the Alexandra Bridge will be partially reduced in lane width from Monday to Friday during the months of September and October 2009. Motorists may experience short delays.
This partial lane reduction in the Ottawa direction is necessary to rehabilitate the Alexandra Bridge as announced recently by the Government of Canada under its 2009 Economic Action Plan.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
