GATINEAU, Quebec, September 22, 2009 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all motorists that the Des Allumettes Bridge in Pembroke will be reduced to one lane from 7:00 a.m. on September 23 to 3:00 p.m. on September 25.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
One lane will remain open to traffic at all times and alternating traffic flow will be controlled using traffic lights at each approach of the bridge.
This lane closure is necessary to conduct general maintenance on the bridge.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience this lane closure may cause.
