GATINEAU, Quebec, September 14, 2009 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all motorists that the lane reductions on the Chaudière Crossing will remain in effect until Friday, September 18, 2009 at 8:00 p.m.
Booth Street from Union Bridge to Middle Street will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18. Signs and traffic cones will be set up on the roadway to allow two-way traffic.
These lane closures are necessary to conduct general maintenance work.
Pedestrian traffic will not be affected by this closure.
The schedule may change due to inclement weather.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience these lane closures may cause.
