Gatineau, Quebec, Friday, September 4, 2009 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all motorists that the Chaudière Crossing will be closed overnight to vehicular traffic in both directions from the intersection of Rue Eddy and Rue Laurier in Gatineau to the intersection of Booth Street and the Ottawa River Parkway in Ottawa. The bridge will be closed from 10:00 p.m on Tuesday, September 8, until 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9.
This bridge closure is necessary to conduct inspection and maintenance work.
This closure will also affect pedestrians.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience these lane closures may cause.
