One of the things for which I am most thankful is the opportunity to work with such motivated, professional and patriotic people towards the protection of Canadian interests, values and sovereignty. Whether you are a member of the Canadian Forces, an employee at the Department of National Defence or at Communications Security Establishment Canada, your dedication to the safety and security of Canada and all Canadians is cherished across our great land. My thoughts are particularly with those away from family and friends this weekend who are doing great work on behalf of our country. From my family to you and yours, I send warm wishes for a healthy, happy Thanksgiving."
