A jury in the Supreme Court of the Northwest Territories has found Emrah Bulatci guilty of first degree murder in the October 2007 death of RCMP Constable Christopher Worden.
While this decision will not lessen the burden of the tragic loss of Christopher, it brings some closure to this sad chapter in RCMP history. It is also testimony to the dedication of all those who investigated this tragic event, those involved in bringing Bulatci to trial, and those who successfully prosecuted the case.
To the Worden family, the RCMP once again extends our deepest sympathies for your loss, and commits to never forget Christopher's sacrifice. The RCMP family will always be at your side.
