QUÉBEC – Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Quebec Region, reports that on December 7, Claude Gionest, of Pabos Mills, was sentenced by Justice Luc Marchildon to a fine of $1,500 for hail not compliant with licence conditions.
The Department has a mandate to protect and conserve fishery resources and is ever vigilant in its efforts to prevent poaching of marine resources.
