OTTAWA – Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada, will make a statement to the media this afternoon following the earthquake that ravaged the Republic of Haiti.
The statement will take place at 2:30 p.m., in the Ballroom at Rideau Hall. Journalists wishing to cover the statement are asked to confirm their attendance in advance with the Rideau Hall Press Office.
