OTTAWA-Their Excellencies the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada, and Mr. Jean-Daniel Lafond, together with the Right Honourable Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada, and his wife, Mrs. Laureen Harper will host a reception to officially welcome foreign heads of State and heads of Government to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
During the reception, the Governor General and the Prime Minister will deliver speeches. The event will take place on Friday, February 12, 2010, at 3:45 p.m., at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver (900 West Georgia Street, Vancouver).

- Media are required to present proper identification for accreditation. (British Columbia Media Center or VANOC or network Accreditation)
- Media should enter by the West Georgia Street entrance of the Fairmont Hotel. The accreditation table will be located next to the Griffins Restaurant.
- Media should arrive between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
