GATINEAU, Quebec, Monday, March 15, 2010 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all motorists that the Alexandra Bridge’s northbound lane to Gatineau will be closed to vehicular traffic:
- From 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16, until 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 17.
- From 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, until 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 18.
This closure will not affect pedestrians.
This lane closure is necessary to allow for maintenance work. It is a part of the planned rehabilitation of the Alexandra Bridge announced by the Government of Canada under its 2009 Economic Action Plan.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience this lane closure may cause.
