Consumer Price Index, February 2010
Consumer prices rose 1.6% in the 12 months to February, following a 1.9% increase in January. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.1% in February.
Retail trade, January 2010
Retail sales rose 0.7% in January. Stores selling home improvement products were large contributors to the gain in January. Retail sales in volume terms increased 0.1%.
