GATINEAU, Quebec, Tuesday, April 6, 2010 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all motorists that the Alexandra Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic from 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, until 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7.
This closure will not affect pedestrians.
This closure is necessary to allow for maintenance work. It is part of the planned rehabilitation of the Alexandra Bridge announced by the Government of Canada under its 2009 Economic Action Plan.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience this closure may cause.
