GATINEAU, Quebec, Tuesday, April 13, 2010 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all motorists that the Alexandra Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic from:
- 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13, until 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14.
- 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, until 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 15.
These closures will not affect pedestrians.
These closures are necessary to allow for maintenance work. They are part of the planned rehabilitation of the Alexandra Bridge announced by the Government of Canada under its 2009 Economic Action Plan.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience these closures may cause.
