GATINEAU, Quebec, April 30, 2010 – Public Works and Government Services Canada, in collaboration with the National Capital Commission, wishes to advise the public that the section of the Ottawa River Pathway between the Portage Bridge and Parliament Hill will remain closed until 11 p.m. on Sunday, May 2.
This closure is necessary in order to complete the installation and start-up of steam boilers at the Cliff Heating and Cooling Plant.
The schedule may change due to inclement weather.
Signs will be posted at the pathway’s access points. For safety reasons, the public is asked to respect the signs and not to enter the pathway.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this closure.
