Minister will promote Canada’s ambitious free trade agenda
(No. A/64 - April 16, 2010) The Honourable Peter Van Loan, Minister of International Trade, will be the keynote speaker at an event commemorating the 31st anniversary of the Latvian Canadian Cultural Centre on Saturday, April 17, 2010.
Minister Van Loan will highlight the potential for job creation in the Baltic states, discuss the value of trade relations with Latvia and underscore the importance of negotiations toward a Canada-European Union economic and trade agreement.
