OTTAWA — On Monday, April 19, the Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister of Natural Resources Canada, will open the CanmetENERGY CO2 Research Facility (CanCO2) at the Ottawa Research Centre in Bells Corners. The CanCO2 Research Facility is a trailer-mounted modular unit suitable for field testing and demonstrations of carbon capture and compression technology.
Media are invited to tour the facility, and technical experts will be on site to answer questions. If there is sufficient demand, transportation will be provided via a hydrogen-powered bus from the Senate shuttle fleet.
