GATINEAU, Quebec, Thursday, May 13, 2010 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all cyclists and pedestrians that work on the boardwalk railings, during weekdays, will be extended to May 28. The work was originally scheduled to be completed May 14.
The boardwalk will remain open; however, we encourage cyclists and pedestrians to take caution while near the work zone as the overall width of the boardwalk will be reduced. We ask that cyclists walk their bikes while in the work zone to reduce the risk of injuries or collisions.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
