GATINEAU, Quebec, May 14, 2010 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all motorists that the Des Allumettes Bridge in Pembroke will be reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. on Monday, May 17 until 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 20.
The schedule may change due to inclement weather.
One lane will remain open to traffic at all times and alternating traffic flow will be controlled by traffic lights at each approach to the bridge.
This lane closure is necessary in order to conduct general maintenance on the bridge.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience this lane closure may cause.
