Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced today the following changes in the senior ranks of the Public Service.
Anita Biguzs , currently Associate Secretary of the Treasury Board, becomes Associate Deputy Minister of Transport, effective June 14.
Alister Smith , currently Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Board, becomes Associate Secretary of the Treasury Board, effective June 14.
Graham Flack , currently Assistant Deputy Minister of Finance, becomes Associate Deputy Minister of Public Safety, effective July 5.
Anne-Marie Robinson , currently Assistant Deputy Minister of Health, becomes Associate Deputy Minister of Health, effective June 1.
Brian Evans , currently Executive Vice-President of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, becomes Chief Food Safety Officer and remains Chief Veterinary Officer, effective June 28.
George Da Pont , currently Commissioner of the Canadian Coast Guard, becomes Executive Vice-President of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, effective June 28.
Marc Grégoire , currently Assistant Deputy Minister of Transport, becomes Commissioner of the Canadian Coast Guard, effective June 28.
