The Government of Canada today received the release of the final report of the Commission of Inquiry into Certain Allegations Respecting Business and Financial Dealings between Karlheinz Schreiber and the Right Honourable Brian Mulroney.
“On behalf of the Government of Canada, I would like to extend my appreciation to Commissioner Jeffrey J. Oliphant and his staff for their dedication and hard work over the past two years to fulfill the mandate of the Commission,” said the Prime Minister.
Commissioner Oliphant was appointed as Commissioner of this Inquiry under Part 1 of the Inquiries Act on June 12, 2008. The final report of the Commission can be found at http://www.oliphantcommission.ca/.
