Kingston, Ontario, Friday, May 14, 2010 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all motorists and pedestrians that the LaSalle Causeway will be closed overnight as follows:
- 9:00 p.m. on Monday, May 17, until 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 18
- 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18, until 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 19
- 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, until 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 20
- 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, until 6:00 a.m. on Friday, May 21
The schedule may change due to inclement weather.
Be advised that the bridge will remain closed to marine traffic until May 21, 2010—one week later than the scheduled date.
These closures are necessary to conduct structural work on the bridge. Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
