Our Government supports arts and culture in Canada. We know how important they are to our society, our identity, and our economy. We must innovate and harness the potential of new technologies to update our approach to arts and culture and meet the changing needs of Canadians. The possibilities available to us are truly endless.
The Canadian Videogame Awards celebrate the country's best videogames. Canada is now the world's third largest employer of videogame professionals. These individuals are talented, passionate, and innovative. Our Government is pleased that these new awards reward the hard work and the originality of Canada's digital artists and artisans.
