GATINEAU, Quebec, Thursday, June 17, 2010 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists that the Alexandra Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic from 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, until 6 a.m. on Friday, June 18.
This closure will not affect pedestrians.
This closure is necessary to allow for ongoing construction work. This is part of the rehabilitation of the Alexandra Bridge announced by the Government of Canada under the 2009 Economic Action Plan.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience these closures may cause.
