OTTAWA—Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada, invites the public to join her for the annual Inspection of the Ceremonial Guard, on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at 10:00 a.m., on Parliament Hill. Following the inspection, the Governor General will address the Guard.
The public duties of the Ceremonial Guard, including the Relief of the Sentries, will begin on June 28, on Parliament Hill and at Rideau Hall, the official residence of the governor general.

In the event of rain, the decision to cancel the inspection will be made at 8:00 a.m., the morning of the event.
