WINNIPEG, Manitoba, June 18, 2010 — The Government of Canada wishes to advise you that the Canada Pavilion, the Government of Canada’s traveling exhibit, will be featured at the Red River Exhibition in Winnipeg, Manitoba, from June 18-27, 2010.
The Canada Pavilion provides an excellent opportunity for Canadians and visitors to learn more about federal programs and services. Several government departments will be showcased at the Canada Pavilion, including Agriculture and Agri-food Canada, Canada Revenue Agency, Service Canada, and the National Capital Commission.
This year, visitors will be able to learn more about Canada’s role in support of biodiversity and express their opinions about the uniqueness of our country by participating in the National Capital Commission’s interactive exhibit.
Each year, the Canada Pavilion visits 10 communities across Canada. As the flagship exhibit of the Government of Canada, the Pavilion has won numerous prizes since its creation in 2000 and has welcomed more than seven million visitors.
