OTTAWA – Media are invited to attend a Change of Command Ceremony on July 07, 2010, at the Cartier Square Drill Hall, when Lieutenant-General Walter Semianiw will assume command of the Canadian Forces organization responsible for routine and contingency operations in Canada.
Vice-Admiral Bruce Donaldson will turn over command of Canada Command in order to assume the duties of Vice Chief of Defence Staff. Chief of the Defence Staff, General Walt Natynczyk, will preside over the ceremony.
