GATINEAU, Quebec, July 2, 2010 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists of lane closures on the Chaudière Crossing from Monday, July 5, until Friday, July 16. During this period, from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., only a single lane will be open; therefore a traffic controller will be on site to direct traffic. From 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., one lane in each direction will remain open.
The sidewalks will remain open to pedestrians at all times.
These lane closures are necessary to allow the rehabilitation of the bridge to continue.
The schedule may change due to inclement weather.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience these lane closures may cause.
