GATINEAU, Quebec, June 30, 2010 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise the public that Cliff Park, located on the west side of the Supreme Court promontory, will be closed as of Friday, July 2, until further notice.
This closure is necessary to assess the work needed for future rehabilitation of the park’s landscape. The project aims to accommodate user needs as well as to conserve and enhance the park’s heritage value.
PWGSC will be setting up safety fencing.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this closure.
