GATINEAU, Quebec, August 27, 2010 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists of lane reductions on the Chaudière Crossing from:
- 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 28 and Sunday, August 29
During that time, only one lane will remain open and will alternate in direction. A traffic controller will be on site to direct traffic.
- 7:00 a.m. Monday, August 30 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 31
During that time, one lane in each direction will remain open at all times.
These lane reductions will not affect pedestrians.
These lane reductions are necessary to allow the rehabilitation of the bridge to continue.
The schedule may change due to inclement weather.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience these lane reductions may cause.
