The RCMP today reports that just after 6pm PST, August 12, an RCMP Emergency Response team along with personnel from the Canada Border Services Agency, with close support of the Canadian Forces HMCS Winnipeg, boarded the MV Sun Sea, shortly after it entered Canadian territorial waters off the coast of British Columbia.
The vessel is now being brought into port at CFB Esquimalt.
A technical briefing involving Government of Canada officials will be held on Friday August 13th, time to be confirmed.
