Industrial capacity utilization rates, second quarter 2010
Canadian industries operated at 76.0% of their production capacity in the second quarter, up 1.6 percentage points from the previous quarter. This was the fourth consecutive quarterly increase.
New motor vehicle sales, July 2010
The number of new motor vehicles sold increased 2.4% to 135,514 units in July. Stronger truck sales were the main contributor to the advance.
