GATINEAU, Quebec, October 18, 2010 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists that the Alexandra Bridge's southbound lane is now opened to Ottawa-bound traffic and the northbound lane is opened to Gatineau-bound traffic. Lane closures have ended and traffic flow is back to normal.
Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to thank the public for its patience and support during the reconstruction of the southbound lane. This work was part of the planned rehabilitation of the Alexandra Bridge announced by the Government of Canada under its Economic Action Plan.
