Gatineau, Quebec, Friday, October 8, 2010 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists of lane reductions on the Chaudière Crossing from Friday, October 8, to Friday, December 3.
Three lanes will remain open at all times with the following configuration:
- from 6:00 a.m. to noon, two lanes southbound and one northbound; and
- from noon to 6:00 a.m., one lane southbound and two northbound.
These lane reductions will not affect pedestrians.
These lane reductions are necessary to allow the rehabilitation of the bridge to continue.
The schedule may change due to inclement weather.
Public Works and Government Services Canada encourages users to exercise caution when in the construction zone and thanks them for their patience.
