GATINEAU, QUEBEC, Thursday, October 28, 2010 - Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise the public that the east sidewalk of the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge will be completely closed from 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 28, until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 1st.
Pedestrians and cyclists are to use the west sidewalk to cross the bridge.
This closure is necessary to conduct general maintenance on the bridge.
The schedule may change due to inclement weather.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience this work may cause.
