OTTAWA-His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will attend the Scouts Canada National Awards Ceremony in his capacity as patron scout, on Saturday October 16, 2010, at 2 p.m., at the Senate Chamber, Parliament of Canada, Centre Block.
The Governor General will present awards to two new recipients. Fourteen Scouting members who have received Scouts Canada's highest awards over the last few years will also be recognized during the event. His Excellency will deliver remarks.
