GATINEAU, Quebec, Tuesday, November 9, 2010 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists that the Alexandra Bridge will be closed to Gatineau-bound traffic from:
- 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 9, until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, November 10.
- 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10, until 6 a.m. on Thursday, November 11.
These closures will not affect pedestrians.
These closures are necessary for road work at the approach of the bridge. The work is part of the planned rehabilitation of the Alexandra Bridge announced by the Government of Canada under its Economic Action Plan.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience these closures may cause.
