QUEBEC CITY- Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Quebec Region, wants to inform the North Shore population that the harvesting of shellfish is now forbidden due to toxicity, in accordance with the prohibition order mentioned below, and pursuant to subsection 3(1) of the Management of Contaminated Fisheries Regulations, in the following shellfish areas:

Pointe des Grès to Pointe Rouge, including Ile à la Chasse and Ile Sainte-Geneviève.

Nickerson Bay from Pointe de la tête to Pointe Sauvage.

Baie de la Grande Hermine (N-20.4)
From Pointe Rouge to Pointe Ouest of Corneille river estuary.
