GATINEAU, QUEBEC, Monday, November 1, 2010 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists of intermittent lane closures on the Des Joachims Bridge in the Deep River-Chalk River area, Ontario, on Tuesday, November 2, to Thursday, November 4, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
During this time, the bridge's only lane will be closed for periods of 20 minutes. It will then be open to vehicular traffic for periods of 20 minutes.
This lane closure is necessary to conduct a detailed inspection on the bridge.
The schedule may change due to inclement weather.
Public Works and Government Services Canada encourages users to exercise caution when in the inspection zone and thanks them for their patience.
