Gatineau, Quebec, Wednesday, December 1, 2010 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists that the Alexandra Bridge will be closed to Ottawa-bound traffic on Thursday, December 2, between 7:00 p.m. and midnight.
This closure will not affect pedestrians.
This closure is necessary to allow for the final adjustments to the new light posts. The work is part of the planned rehabilitation of the Alexandra Bridge announced by the Government of Canada under its Economic Action Plan.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
Public Works and Government Services Canada apologizes for any inconvenience these closures may cause.
