OTTAWA - Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Mexican Secretary of Defence has advised that he is unable to participate in the trilateral meeting of North American Defence Ministers. This meeting has now been postponed.
The Honourable Peter MacKay, Minister of National Defence and Dr. Robert M. Gates, U.S. Secretary of Defense, will still convene for a bilateral meeting and hold a media availability afterwards.
This meeting will focus on defence issues of common interest.
What: Media availability with the Honourable Peter MacKay and Dr. Robert M. Gates.
