GATINEAU, Quebec, January 3, 2011 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists of lane reductions on the Chaudière Crossing from Tuesday, January 4, until Friday, February 27.
Three lanes will remain open as per the following configuration. Please note that from:
- 6:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., two Ottawa-bound lanes and one Gatineau-bound lane will be open.
- 12:00 p.m. to 5:59 a.m., one Ottawa-bound lane and two Gatineau-bound lanes will be open.
These lane reductions will not affect pedestrians.
These lane reductions are necessary to allow the rehabilitation of the bridge to continue.
The schedule may change due to inclement weather.
Public Works and Government Services Canada encourages users to exercise caution when in the construction zone and thanks them for their patience.
