Sherbrooke — The Honourable Jean-Pierre Blackburn, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Minister of State (Agriculture), will announce federal assistance for the restoration of the Sherbrooke Fusilier Regiment Memorial currently located at the corner of Queen Victoria and Elizabeth streets in Sherbrooke. Funds awarded under the Cenotaph/Monuments Restoration Program will be used to move the monument to a location in front of the Sherbrooke Hussars Armoury.
