OTTAWA, March 10, 2011 - Kimberley Bozak has been appointed as a member of the National Arts Centre Board of Trustees for a four-year term. This was announced today by the Honourable James Moore, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
"I am pleased to welcome Ms. Bozak to the National Arts Centre," said Minister Moore. "Her professional experience and extensive knowledge of communications and marketing will be tremendous assets to the Board."
Since 2000, Ms. Bozak has been working as a producer at Winsome Productions in Toronto and is actively involved in her community. Since 2003, she has been Co-Chair of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Marketing and Communications Committee at the Canadian Art Foundation in Toronto. She has been Chair of the Foundation at the Wellington Financial Charitable Foundation in Toronto since 2007, and has been a member of Partners In Art for the past five years. In addition, Ms. Bozak was Director of Protocol at the Banff World Television Festival in 2007 and 2008.
The National Arts Centre (NAC) is a federal cultural organization dedicated primarily to developing and showcasing the performing arts in the National Capital Region and across Canada.
