GATINEAU, QUEBEC, Tuesday, March 22, 2011 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists that traffic on the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge will be reduced to a single Ottawa-bound lane and two Gatineau-bound lanes from:
- 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, and
- 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 24.
These lane reductions will not affect pedestrians.
The schedule may change due to inclement weather.
These lane reductions are necessary to conduct general maintenance on the centre median of the bridge.
Public Works and Government Services Canada encourages users to exercise caution when in the construction zone and thanks them for their patience, as they may experience short delays.
