OTTAWA – Media are invited to attend an update on the Canadian Forces deployment to enforce United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973 (2011) to be held on March 25 at 12:15 p.m. at National Defence Headquarters.
The Honourable Peter MacKay, the Minister of National Defence and Major-General Tom Lawson, Assistant Chief of the Air Staff will provide an update on the Canadian Forces' contribution and will answer questions from the media.
When: Friday, March 25, 2011 at 12:15 p.m. (EST)
