OTTAWA – Media are invited to attend an update on the Canadian Forces deployment to enforce United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973 (2011) to be held on March 30 at 2:00 p.m. at National Defence Headquarters.
Brigadier-General Richard Blanchette, Canadian Forces Spokesperson, will provide an update on the Canadian Forces’ contribution and Major-General Tom Lawson, Assistant Chief of the Air Staff, will provide an update on Air Force contributions. Both Generals will be available to answer questions from the media.
When: Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. (EST)
